Imported by your space
If your name is already on your space's list, your space has prepared your contract. You get it through the space's invitation or, without one, with the same email address.
A space moving to Selfdesk from another system uploads its existing coworkers as a list. That list creates no accounts. Your space then sends you an invitation by email, with a button and a code. How to accept it is described under Accept an invitation.
- With the invitation you get plan, billing address and start date from the list, whichever account you accept it with. You skip choosing a plan.
- Without an invitation, the list only applies if you sign in with exactly the email address your space entered, and the address is confirmed. The code from the email confirms it, and so does signing in with Apple or Google. If your space has already sent you a valid invitation, this path does not apply; accept the invitation instead.
- If you sign in with a different address and without an invitation, you go through the full plan selection as a new member, and your space has to confirm your contract.
- You still have to accept the legal documents yourself. Nobody can do that for you.
- A contract taken over this way applies at once. You do not wait for approval, because your space's list is the approval.
- You cannot move or withdraw the prepared contract yourself before it begins. The home screen then says Your space prepared this contract for you. If something should change, such as the start, tell your space; it changes it for you.
- If the list names a fixed desk, it is blocked for everybody else before you even register. Your space can change it before and after.
- A start date in the past stays exactly as your space entered it. That is your history, not a mistake.
